15 small fresh mushrooms
2tbsp plain yoghurt
½tsp red chilli powder (adjust to taste)
¼tsp roasted cumin (jeera) powder
½tsp garam masala or chaat masala
1-2tbsp chickpea (gram) flour
½tsp garlic paste
¼tsp ginger paste (optional) salt
1 Lightly brush mushrooms to remove dirt and dust. Place in a bowl.
2 Add the remaining ingredients (except oil) to the mushrooms and mix gently by hand.
3 Set aside for about 30 minutes to an hour.
4 Heat the oil in a large pan and fry the mushrooms until nicely browned.
5 Stick toothpicks through the mushrooms and serve with green chutney https://bit.ly/2fDhezy, raw onions and lemon pieces.
