Mushrooms with green beans

  • 250 g fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 500 g sliced mushrooms (mix of portabellini and Portobello), roughly chopped
  • Salt & pepper to season

Mushrooms with green beans Method

    1. Put green beans in a microwave with water on high for 4 minutes
    2. Once done, carefully remove excess water and set aside
    3. While green beans are cooking, heat oil over medium heat in a large skillet/sauté pan
    4. Add onion and cook until soft, Add mushrooms and cook, stirring occasionally until they begin to brown
    5. Add green beans and stir to combine and rewarm. Season with salt & pepper and Serve.
